Founder & Managing Attorney
Lauren Gaydos Duffer is a Texas family law attorney whose practice focuses on assisted reproduction, surrogacy, gamete donation, embryo donation, adoption, and parentage matters.
Recognized as one of the early attorneys in Texas to develop a practice centered on assisted reproductive technology (ART), Lauren has spent more than two decades helping families navigate the legal aspects of family formation. She has represented intended parents, gestational carriers, donors, and fertility professionals in matters ranging from gestational agreements to parentage proceedings.
Lauren is a Fellow of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAAA), a nationally recognized organization dedicated to the ethical and competent practice of adoption and assisted reproduction law. She is also a frequent speaker at legal, medical, and fertility-industry conferences and has presented nationally on surrogacy, embryo disposition, egg donation, and evolving family formation issues.
Her philosophy is simple: every client deserves clear communication, responsive service, and a legal strategy designed around their family’s specific needs.
When she is not practicing law, Lauren enjoys traveling with her family and cheering on her sons at sporting events.
